I say I’m kinda depressed, not for the first time and publicly. But in reality, I’m diagnosed, it is a reoccurring season, and I have recently posted a video about a low day.
And I got a lot of personal feedback. Some people said the way I looked in that video is how they look during their normal days, when they’re out of a depressive phase. Others said they go to work, continue with their lives, but understand how hard the brushing-your-teeth part can be. A few said they’re finally going to get evaluated. Please do, if you have the opportunity and you’ve been feeling low for a long time.
Here’s what it looks like for me. It’s not advice or instructions, just what a depressive episode feels like now, with meds, therapy and lived aware experience. It’s not the worst it’s ever been, but it is here and it is very noticeable.
